Forget

Connect your assistants

Connect the AI tools you use and they all share one memory. The first connection asks you to sign in once.

MCP

Most assistants only need this address. Authentication is OAuth.

Muse

Create an assistant key, then ask Muse to build a custom connector. Paste the key when Muse asks; it keeps it in its Secure Credentials Store.

Build a custom connector that uses Forget as my long-term memory. Docs: https://cloud.forget.sh/agent (Bearer key; I will paste it when you ask). Check the key with GET /v1/whoami first, then save a skill: /v1/recall before answering about me, /v1/remember for things worth keeping.

Meta does not review custom connectors; recalled memories reach Meta’s model. Muse is US-only for now.

Add to ~/.codex/config.toml, then sign in:

codex mcp login forget

Try this first

  1. Tell one assistant: “Remember about me: I work at ___ and lately I am working on ___.”
  2. Ask another: “What did I say I am working on?” It answers from the same memory.
  3. To make it forget: “Forget that.”
